San Leucio (St. Leucius of Brindisi) has a longstanding tradition of being invoked for rain and protection from drought. This devotion is rooted in the famous account in which, through his prayers, abundant rain fell upon the region of Brindisi after more than two years of drought.

Through the San Leucio Agricultural Enrollment, members of the San Leucio Society may enroll an unlimited number of farms, ranches, vineyards, orchards, fields, gardens, nurseries, or other agricultural properties.

Each enrolled property is entrusted to the intercession of San Leucio and included among the intentions of the San Leucio Society whenever Holy Mass is celebrated for the Society.

The enrollment seeks San Leucio’s intercession for:

• Favorable weather
• Protection from drought
• Protection from destructive storms and conditions
• The health of crops and livestock
• An abundant harvest
• The safety of those who work the land
• God’s blessing upon their families and livelihoods

The San Leucio Agricultural Enrollment seeks to renew and spread this devotion throughout the United States, inviting farmers, growers, gardeners, ranchers, and all who depend upon the land to seek the intercession of San Leucio.
